EDITING AND PROOFREADING SERVICES

Subject: Editing and Proofreading of Books/Monographs, Research Project Reports, Annual Reports, Prospectuses, Teaching material, Journals, Magazines, News Letters, Occasional Papers, etc.

On the basis of our association with scholars of some universities and research institutes we can say without any hesitation that the manuscripts of the type of documents mentioned above should be thoroughly edited and proofread before these are submitted for scrutiny or final publication. Adequate care taken in time in this regard saves authors/institutes an awkward situation later -- adverse comments on the quality of editing and proof reading. It is, therefore, always desirable that these types of material should be seen by a professional person before publishing them.

NK Centre for Educational Studies has adequate facilities and skills to help authors and research institutes for providing editing and proofreading services for their publications.
We edit all types of manuscripts relating to fiction, non-fiction, social sciences, international relations / organization, area studies, and the type of publications / documents mentioned above.

Our Centre is an established institution which has a team of qualified advisors and consultants. They are amply familiar with standard and format of these documents. We have also brought out our own publications, namely,

i. Handbook of Entrance Examinations and Scholarships and Fellowships (pp.1690),
ii. Topical Studies (pp.900) for IAS candidates,
iii. Progressive Improvement of English and Personality Development,
iv. Written English, and
v. Writing Creatively (getting ready)

Printing of Manuscripts

Those authors who intend to bring out their books on their own and then sell them through their own sources (including distributors) without going direct to publishers, are welcome to contact us. We shall take care of:

Stage I
1. computerized typing
2. Formatting the finally approved matter on PageMaker
3. Editing
4. preparing camera-ready copy of the manuscript for printing

Stage II:
We print the final manuscript and deliver the finished books to authors.

Payments
Of the estimated expenditure under Stage I and Stage II each, 90% of the amount will be payable as advance and the rest at the time of delivery of the finished product.
